What is better than going on a vacation?  Playing tennis and watching world class tennis while on vacation! And Tennis Ventures does just that!  Not only does Tennis Ventures cover the Grand Slams, but they also have an amazing vacation package here at the BNP Paribas Open. For 2014, the vacation includes a doubles clinic with the Bryan Brothers, a tennis camp with Lindsay Davenport and John Leach, box seat and luxury suite tickets to the BNP Paribas Open, a special demo session with the Tennis Warehouse Playtesters, and much more.

Last year, I was able to get a sneak peek of this amazing vacation and wrote a blog with all the details. This year, TW Playtesters Chris, Jason, and myself were able to participate in the event and held a demo session on the courts of Rancho Las Palmas Country Club.  Chris gave a quick speech on how to pick a racquet and explained the different types of racquets available on the market today.  We then held a question and answer session and then hit the courts with approximately 15 different racquets for the participants to try out from the Wilson Pro Staff 90 all the way to the Prince Premier 115 ESP. We finished out the session with one of our favorite games, Hit a TW Prize (like the TW Trucker Hat, TW Water Bottle or TW Icon Shirt)!

While this year’s vacation is over, there are already spots available for next year.  Make sure to sign up soon as spots are limited and fill up quickly! You can check out Tennis Venture’s website and Facebook page, where you can find more information about the trip and as well as all the other amazing trips you can go on.

If you do decide to go on one of their trips (and yes, I might be a little jealous!), be sure to stock up on all your tennis equipment needs at Tennis Warehouse! And remember Tennis Venture’s motto “Be there. Stay there. Play there.”
