While you won’t normally catch me rocking pink apparel, I definitely will always make an exception for Breast Cancer Awareness month this October. And I hate to admit it, I have to face the facts that it is no longer summer and the warm weather is long gone. Therefore, I picked one of my favorite sweatshirts that has come out all year, the Under Armour Power in Pink Fighter Hoodie. In fact, TW Playtester Michelle loves it so much she is now a proud owner of the sweatshirt. There are so many things I love about this hoodie. The first is how soft and comfortable it is. I honestly would never take it off. I also love the heather grey color combined with the pop of pink on the hood. Lastly, I love the inspirational message of “She’s a fighter” going down the right sleeve as well as the pink ribbon on the hood.
I paired this hoodie with the multifunctional Under Armour Power in Pink Escape Short. This fun pink short features an elastic waistband, a built-in brief, and reflective logo. I love the grey print detail on the waistband and trim. The short is perfect for a tennis practice, gym workout or a run.
I can’t forget about dressing the feet so that’s why I chose one of the most popular tennis shoes out on the market, the Prince T22. I picked the White/Pink colorway (psst: Prince is pairing with the non-profit organization Bright Pink and will donate 10% of the proceeds to them from the sale of these shoes) to go with the pink theme. Additionally, this shoe is comfortable, stable, and even comes with a six-month durability guarantee.
Lastly, every outfit is not complete without an accessory. No matter how you are exercising one of the most important things you can do for your body is to stay hydrated. That is why I chose the Nike Sport Water Bottle in vivid pink. The water bottle holds 20 ounces of liquid (maybe add a ZYM Endurance Electrolyte Berry Drink for extra pink-ness), a leak proof valve and easy-to-hold ergonomic design.
With all this pink love, I might just have to continue incorporating pink into my outfits and maybe grab one of those hoodies so I can be twins with Michelle.
