Ana Ivanovic’s third round match is set, and she’s set to play the rising American teen, Sloane Stephens. They’ve played only once before, and it’s an eerily familiar situation. Last year, Ana and Sloane met in the same round with Ivanovic winning 6-3, 6-4. It’s a new year and a Open, we’ll see how this one plays out. The crowd is sure to be backing the young American, though it’s hard to cheer for a smiling Ana Ivanovic, too.
When Ana steps onto the court, one thing is for sure: She’s sure to look stylish. Here’s a quick look at how you can get her look.
It’s been all about the bright neons this summer, and her adidas adizero dress is ready for the electrifying energy of the US Open. It’s a bright Lab Lime. A unique feature to this dress is that it’s actually a three-piece set that includes the dress, coordinating sports bra and shortie.
On her feet, Ana is wearing the adizero Tempaia II in White/Pink. This is a lightweight shoe that’s built for speed. At Tennis Warehouse, we just started our review process for this shoe. So far the feedback is that the fit and comfort is improved over the previous version. Ana keeps those sock tan lines at bay by choosing some adidas no-show socks. Get a similar look with either the ClimaLite II 2-Pack or the Sport No-Show 2-Pack.
For accessories, Ana goes for cute and functional. To keep the sun off her face, she wears an adidas visor. We have several to choose from, but the adidas Match Visor is easy to mix and match with any outfit or go for an all pink ClimaLite Visor.
Her racquet of choice is the Yonex EZONE Xi 98. This midplus racquet packs a big punch off the ground, making it a great choice for baseliners like Ana.
Sloane will step onto court in her Under Armour gear with Head Prestige racquet, ready to take out another seed. She beat took out 22nd seed Francesca Schiavone in the first round in straight sets. We’ll see if history will repeat itself this year or if Sloane will advance to the fourth round, which would make it her best US Open to date.
Happy US Open Watching!
