5 items to bring on vacation

Ready for a getaway

It’s high traveling season, and most everyone likes to take a break with a weekend away or vacation. Something not everyone likes to do, however, is pack. So I took the liberty of picking my five must-haves for the active woman on vacation.

1. Maggie Bag
Let’s start with a bag. Aside from luggage, a bag that doubles as purse, gym bag, beach bag, tennis bag when on vacation is pretty handy. My choice is the Maggie Bag in pewter. It’s stylish and has plenty of compartments to store big and little items. The pewter color is neutral so it goes with a lot of things, but there’s cute fashionable accents with the┬ápink and zebra print lining. I also like that there are zippers for the main compartment so if you’re running around — or running to catch your connecting flight — your stuff won’t fly out.

2. Lija Pursuit Sleeveless Polo
The Pursuit fabric LIJA uses on this top is so lightweight and holds its shape well, making it a great travel top. It’s designed for the tennis court, but it’s got plenty of off-court style, too. Laser cut has been a big trend, and I love how LIJA uses it here on the back for style and ventilation. The little button on the placket and rucking at the shoulders are just the extra little touches. With minimal brand logos, the Pursuit Sleeveless Polo is plenty sophisticated as a crossover piece.

3. Solfire Wild Diamond Back Tank
This soft Diamond Back Tank is perfectly cute for casual tennis, workouts or even worn over a swimsuit. The floral pattern on the front is feminine but is edgy enough not to be overly cutesy. Plus, that back design is what we like to call super cute.

4. Jofit Packable Pant
Well, it’s in the name! This Jofit essential has a wider waistband to hold in the tummy for a slimming look, and the back pockets add some style and give your tush a boost. And it comes in black. And black goes with everything.

5. Fila Sport Towels
Not the sexiest item, you might be thinking, but these disposable towels are great for trips or just to carry in your everyday bag for emergencies. They’re a bit like giant wet wipes, but way better than any wet wipe you’ve ever seen. You never know when you’ll need to freshen up and don’t have time or the facilities for a full shower. They come in a pack of six so throw a package in your bag just in case because you never know when you’re going to get stuck at the airport!

Happy Traveling!
