We are offering the adidas Barricade V Classic in mint for $49.95 for our Mother’s Day sale. That’s an amazing deal. There aren’t many shoes currently available to offer comparisons to these adidas shoes. The Barricade V is truly unmatched in terms of stability and durability. Plus, the cushioning is plush. Be warned, however, if you’re not an initiated member of the Barricade V club, take note that you’ll need to spend a good week to two weeks breaking in these shoes. Sure it sounds like a lot, but trust me, those efforts are rewarded in a big way.
I’ve picked a couple of outfits, one for training and one for match day, to match these shoes. For training, I went with an Under Armour ensemble. I like the Charged Cotton (that’s what CC stands for) Novelty Tank in black. It actually looks grey because it’s on the sheer side. Charged Cotton is really comfortable and technical as well. With this tank top’s sheer quality, pick a fun sports bra to go underneath. Pair it with another affordable Under Armour item, the Play It Up Short. These are super comfy but don’t have ball storage so if you’re training on the court, pair them with a compression short underneath or tuck the ball into the back waist.
For match day, Tail’s Coastal Serenity collection is a nice match to the mint color of the Barricade V Classic. I like the Athena Tank, especially with the back detail, and the Tia Skirt is a mix of a mint green and jade, so the outfit is cohesive without being too matchy matchy.
If these outfits aren’t your cup of tea, did you know you could search our apparel offerings by color? Check out all of our green tank tops here.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner (May 11), and what better gift to yourself is there than time on the tennis court?! My 3-year-old daughter is always talking about playing tennis with mommy, so it might be fun to get her a coordinating mommy-and-me outfit for tennis for an extra special tennis outing. She loves anything called a dress or skirt — a pretty easy order when it comes to tennis!
I checked out our options and picked out 5 of my favorite looks.
