Originally introduced in 2000, the adidas Barricade has become a modern day classic tennis shoe known for its unmatched support, stability and durability. There’s no shoe that protects better and last longer for the serious tennis competitor. It’s worn and trusted by countless touring pros, including both 2015 Australian Open men’s finalists, Novak Djokovic (Barricade 7) and Andy Murray (Barricade 8+).
According to the Chinese calendar, 2012 is the year of the Dragon. And to help commemorate, adidas has launched the limited edition Barricade 6.0 Dragon shoe.
World #4, Andy Murray will be wearing this shoe at the Shanghai Masters 1000 event and the China Open in Beijing. The cosmetics of this shoe will feature a dragon symbol, a metallic finish and Chinese symbols for the cities of Shanghai and Beijing. The shoes are shipped in a special box with dragon designs in a 3D embossed effect.
