In March 2015, Yonex introduces the latest update to their most precise-feeling racquet line. Used by ATP and WTA pros Borna Coric and Sabine Lisicki, the VCORE Tour F series features Yonex’s new Aero Fin technology – a unique frame construction that places little “fins” at the top of the frame that decrease air resistance and increase swing speed. The racquets fly through the air as easily as a shark cuts through water! In addition, a 16×21 string pattern is used to improve control while preserving power and dwell time.
Three new models being introduced will be available for pre-sale at Tennis Warehouse on Monday, March 16.
Yonex VCORE Tour F 93
A modern-feeling midsize frame that swings fast and offers incredible precision and feel (10.9 oz/310g unstrung).
Yonex VCORE Tour F 97 (310g unstrung)
The heavier version of the midplus that combines modern power and forgiveness with traditional precision and feel. Used by ATP and WTA pros.
Yonex VCORE Tour F 97 (290g unstrung)
A lighter version of the midplus that’s fast-feeling and easy to swing.
adidas pays homage to the upcoming Asian ATP Tour swing with a special cosmetic in their flagship shoe with the adidas Shanghai Barricade 8+! The Solar Gold underlay shimmers through the dark Kurim upper, accented by the Solar Blue signature adidas 3-stripe logo on the lateral side. The shoelaces and the outsole even glisten when the light hits them. It’s finished off by a special logo on the tongue that reads “China” in Chinese characters.
It looks fantastic, but how does it perform? The softer Kurim upper of the 8+ offers improved comfort and flexibility over the previous version (the Barricade 8) after a brief break-in period. The signature Barricade midfoot stability claws and Band of Power in the heel lock in the foot for exceptional support. There’s simply no better tennis shoe than the Barricade for stability and durability.
The new adidas Barricade 8+ Shanghai launches Friday, September 12th! Be sure to get your pair from TennisWarehouse.com!
The legend continues! You can get your hands on the anticipated adidas Barricade 8+ next week. This latest shoe brings a seamless Kurim upper to the Barricade shoe line. With this new material, adidas aims to improve durability while preserving the breathability and flexibility of its predecessor.
The remainder of the Barricade 8+ remains. There is the Band of Power to lock down your heel, while the signature Stability Claws take care of your forefoot support. There’s also still a six-month outsole durability guarantee for the adiwear 6 outsole.

For the launch of the shoe, there are four colors: Solar Green, Collegiate navy, White/Black and Grey/Silver. Check for them June 27 at Tennis Warehouse!
