The legend continues! You can get your hands on the anticipated adidas Barricade 8+ next week. This latest shoe brings a seamless Kurim upper to the Barricade shoe line. With this new material, adidas aims to improve durability while preserving the breathability and flexibility of its predecessor.

The remainder of the Barricade 8+ remains. There is the Band of Power to lock down your heel, while the signature Stability Claws take care of your forefoot support. There’s also still a six-month outsole durability guarantee for the adiwear 6 outsole.

Check out the features of the shoe:

For the launch of the shoe, there are four colors: Solar Green, Collegiate navy, White/Black and Grey/Silver. Check for them June 27 at Tennis Warehouse!

Get a first look at Solfire’s Wild Collection

We wanted to give you a behind the scenes look at Solfire’s photoshoot for the upcoming Wild Collection. The company is based in Brooklyn, New York, and some of the most iconic locations in the country are right in its backyard.

They gave us a sneak peek, behind the scenes look of the photo shoot for the Wild Collection, which you’ll be able to find here at Tennis Warehouse very soon!

. . .

The US Tennis Center is 5 miles from our design center, and we went there first to get things started. We spent some time shooting right in front of the unisphere. It always feels special to be in a place where so many us open champions have stood.

Sneak Peek: Pure Strike 100!

After giving you guys some info about the new Pure Strike and Pure Strike Tour, here’s a quick sneak peek of the 3rd racquet in this family from Babolat, the Pure Strike 100!

PS100

bps5This is the lightest, most forgiving frame in the Strike family. Unlike the Pure Strike and Pure Strike Tour, it comes in at 100 square inches and has a 16×19 string pattern. This racquet has been designed for a wider group of players and will be easier for all levels to pick up and enjoy. Response and precision are definitely present in this forgiving frame.

The Pure Strike 100 offers speed over stability, and has a very crisp, controlled response, so that even players with shorter strokes will enjoy this one. For me, this racquet offers players a bit more power and a livelier feel over the tighter string patterns of the Pure Strikes. Those who don’t need (or don’t want) quite as much control or precision from the 18×20 patterns will enjoy this racquet.
