We only have so much room on the home page to showcase what’s new, and we have so many products arriving each week that it can be tough to keep up. Here’s a quick look at some of the items you may have missed.
It’s an Olympic year, and adidas has come out with new colors of the barricade 7 for men and women. The men’s High Energy/Black/White combo and women’s Core Energy color are hard to miss on the court. In keeping with trend, adidas is not shying away with color. The barricade was revamped for this seventh version, offering a shorter break-in period and a redesigned stability claw system. The shoes still do carry the six-month durability guarantee, and this model is also miCoach compatible.
That was the trendy, and now on to the vintage. Siobhan recently wrote a few blogs about our Bosworth Collection, so if you haven’t heard about our vintage collection, you can read up a little more about them here. We just put up several classic racquets. These are great for those looking for an old-school racquet to play with as well as racquet collectors. The racquets are unused but may have some customization to them or just have some blemishes because of their age. Just added are Bosworth Fox ATP Racquet, Bosworth Fox Target 210 Plus Racquet, Bosworth Wimbledon Vastega Taiwan Racquets, Bosworth Wimbledon Vastega Thailand Racquet and the Bosworth Yamaha Gold 90 Racquet.
If you’re a traveling competitive player or a traveler who likes to play some tennis, the Wilson Tour Red Traveler w/Wheels Bag is for you. This bag is huge. When stuffed full of clothes it can be heavy, and that’s where the wheels come in handy. The Tour Traveler bag is sturdy and can take the abuses of air travel. With no specific racquet compartments, this is better suited for traveling from city to city rather than to and from the courts. Cost: $99.95.
Men who like their Italian fashion will be pleased to see two new collections right up their alley. First we have the Sergio Tacchini Roma Group. Each of the items in this collection features the Internazionali BNL d’Italia tournament patch embroidered on the sleeve. There are casual tees as wells pique polos for stylish days on and off the court. Be sure to check our fit descriptions for each piece because we found most of the tops to run at least one size small. The Intman Polo pictured here is cotton and runs small by US standards. Even at one size up, it was still slim. Keep in mind that it is cotton and if you want a slightly more forgiving cut, you’ll want to go up two sizes to account for shrinkage in the wash. Whatever size you choose, you can’t deny that this is one sharp looking polo. Intman Polo Cost: $55. For more classic Italian designs, check out the Lotto Summer Heritage Group. There’s one performance polo in the line, while the rest of the collection is made up of cotton polos and tees. It’s a great mix of white and navy, which is always in style.
Not to be left out, the women have new apparel options as well. Yellow has been a popular color for summer collections, and Bolle adds to the mix. The High Performance Firefly Group showcases Bolle’s sporty designs in a striking yellow/black/white mix. High Performance pieces have a slightly slimmer fit than other Bolle items, but check out each piece’s fit description for details.
Last but certainly not least, we are now carrying Spanx Figure Flattering Activewear. There’s probably not a woman out there who hasn’t heard of the slimming benefits of Spanx. Now you can get those body shaping benefits in your active wear. The Power Skort and Power Pant have the famous Bagel Buster waistband, and when you’re wearing a top over it, no one will be the wiser!
That’s it for now. Check back in later for more new gear arriving at TW.
