With 2015 less than 48 hours away, I don’t want to lollygag, dillydally or shilly shally around. This year, we saw the retirement of one of the most popular players on the WTA, Li Na, Caroline Wozniacki ran a marathon, and a bunch of people dumped buckets of ice on themselves for a great cause (including us).
Furthermore, we had eight different Grand Slam singles champions for the first time in 16 years! Could the Big 4 be no more?
But before we get to those, let’s give out some awards!
Today, the playtesters are picking our favorite pro outfits of the year. In no particular order, here are our favorites from the WTA (in case you missed it, we picked our favorite men’s outfits, too):
Karly: “Ana Ivanovic, Australian Open (adidas Spring adizero Dress). Not only were the colors great and really popped, but my favorite was mesh backing and striping that made this dress better than the rest. It’s all about the attention to details that made this outfit a hit!
Andy also chose the same dress: “Ivanovic is always looking good, but these colors contrasted well with the Rod Laver Arena court, helping her take down the No. 1 seed, Serena Williams.”
Today, the playtesters are picking our favorite pro outfits of the year. In no particular order, here are our favorites from the ATP:
Chris: “Best pro outfit ATP Tie: Nicolas Almagro and Potito Starace as they wore almost identical Lotto apparel at the Montecarlo Rolex Masters. Classic and clean looking white crew with light blue accents paired with a light blue short. This outfit popped against the clay court backdrop yet looked classy and sporty.”
