2012 Favorites: Wildcard

Posted on December 31, 2012 in Miscellaneous

Here we are. Dec. 31 — and it’s time to get wild! Well, maybe not wild exactly, but today’s category is a wildcard. The playtesters got to choose anything they wanted for this category. The only limitation: It has to be something released in 2012. Anything goes. Here’s what they picked.

Andy: “This and the Babolat AeroPro Drive 2013, were my two favorite racquets of 2012.  This provides lots of power, spin and forgiveness, but the feel is great as well.”

adidas Ultimate Club Bag ($49.99)

Siobhan may have dubbed herself the bag lady, but I know a thing or two about bags, too. I mean, I do have a small obsession with handbags that has poured over into sport bags since I’m more likely to carry one of those these days. An active mom of a wee one needs room for diapering essentials, snacks, change of clothes for said wee one, workout clothes for mom, water for mom, water for baby, toys… I’m sure I’m forgetting something because I always seem to need something I left at home, and I’m not talking about the kitchen sink. As you can see, I need a spacious bag. I want something that’s going to fit everything I need, that looks good and that is affordable.

My go-to bag now is the adidas Ultimate Club Bag. It’s super cute, and I don’t go around throwing “super cute” around all willy nilly. This is a duffle all dressed up. The shape is unique and new, and I happen to love it. The main space is large enough to carry the laundry list of items from above without being overstuffed. The side mesh pocket can be used for my water bottle (yes, a Tennis Warehouse one), but honestly, in the morning, you’ll see my travel mug full of coffee stored there. The interior pockets carry my wallet, phone, etc, plus the ever essential Tide pen (not just for baby because mom is messy, too).

I have the print one, and if you’re wondering if the white gets dirty, I can say that I haven’t had much of a problem. I’ve toted this around for a while now, and it looks clean. I’ve washed it once, and it looked brand new afterward. I’ve had zero problems with zippers, and there aren’t any tears in the fabric. Not a fan of prints or still not convinced it’s easy to keep the white clean? Check it out in pink, too.

This bag is simply sweet for women on the go!

Happy Hitting!
