Tennis fashion: Favorites under $40

While dropping off the kids at preschool, I noticed that gas prices have crept up 10 cents in the last couple of days. That seems to be the standard these days. The cost of everything going up, that is. The good deals are still there, but we just have to look harder. I had the TW Stylists do some of the work for you and asked them to find their favorite pieces under $40 that weren’t on sale. Karly upped the ante and nearly found an entire outfit for that amount. Impressive!

Favs under $40: Bargain basics

Let’s start with Karly and her outfit. The grand total for this outfit is $40.98. One of my favorite things about this outfit is the versatility. She went with a white Reebok skort, which is easily matched with just about any top. The tank is nearly all black, again an easy match with just about any bottom. I would recommend going down a size in the skort if you’re in between sizes because it runs slightly large. It’s also a good pick if you like skorts on the longer side.

Favorites Under $40: Tennis 2

Britt’s pick is perfect for the summer. Together this outfit is only $57.98, and it’s so on trend. Unless you’ve been wearing sunglasses for the past few seasons, you might have noticed that bright is back and still going strong. It’s worth noting on this skort that Britt recommends going up a size.

Favorites Under $40: Tennis 1

Michelle expertly mix and matched brands. The colors are a perfect match, and the orange pop on the short of the New Balance skort is so fun. I love that you can wear the LoveAll tee for tennis, workouts and to hang out with the ladies afterward. Michelle does note that the tee is slightly sheer because of the burnout style. Get this look for $66.99.

Favs under $40: Workout versatility

I threw in a couple of bonus outfits that I put together. OK, technically the Nike short isn’t under $40 and is exactly $40. The Nike tee has a deep V, but not too deep. It’s really flattering. The Nike outfit comes in at $65, a great deal for in-season Nike! For those who like a cover-up or just like long sleeves, the tasc top is one of my go-tos. I wear it for tennis, I wear to hike. I just love, love, love it. Did I say I love it? The Asics short is like getting two shorts for $35.99. The inner shortie is not attached so if you’ve got the legs, show them off in this bold print! The tasc-Asics outfit is the most expensive here at $70.99, but really it’s three outfits in one, so that deserves bonus points!

We’ll be doing more of these features on the blog and the vlog (check it out below). So please keep checking back with us!

Happy Hitting,
