Summer is here! Which means your TW Stylists have been hard at work putting together the perfect summer outfits for you to check out! Bringing their different perspectives, tastes and style, the three of us put together three very different looks for you to check out. Each look features a main piece (a top and bottom, or a dress), combined with a hot pair of shoes and one accessory. So check out our three looks and then head to Tennis Warehouse where you can pick up these pieces to add some style to your game.
Michelle’s Summer of Color Outfit:
It’s all about color for me this summer! My pick is loaded with fresh colors that will keep you looking bright on the court. The second I saw these new Summer Break Back Skorts from HEAD, I was inspired to create an outfit around the flourescent yellow. I automatically paired it with the super soft adidas Powerluxe HIgh & Mighty Tank. The great thing about this tank is it can be paired with almost anything, it fits great and has a built in shelf bra, and it comes in five fun colors perfect for this summer, oh and did I mention, it’s on sale?
Shoes were a no brainer for me — we JUST got in this new color way of the amazingly comfortable Asics Gel Resolutions 5, and if you know anything about me and my fashion, the more color I can get on my tennis shoes, the better! Lastly, I needed an accessory. While my number one accessory is usually a head band, I couldn’t resist this super cute, super soft long sleeve Cross Racquets Hoodie from Love All. I absolutely adore this hoodie — it’s so perfect for the summer because it’s light weight, perfect for pre or post match!
Karly’s Trendy Trainer Outfit:
Ahhhhhh… Feel that? Sunshine. Sweet, beautiful sunshine. Now that summer is here, we can peel away those layers and take in that greatly missed warmer weather. Personally I prefer playing in the heat, that is only if I’m wearing the right clothing of course. I need a top that keeps me cool, while allowing me to move comfortably. That’s why I turn to the lightweight Head Action Tank. Its sleek racerback straps provide free range of movement for my arms, in addition to the flowy torso which offers a relaxed fit to keep me feeling comfortable at all times. And talk about one stylish, comfortable summer top! I know, I know. Pants for summer? No way! But allow me to explain… Ever since I saw Sharapova, Serena and a few other top players practicing in these workout pants, I had to give it a try. I absolutely love wearing them for practice now! They’re more comfortable than running around in a skort for training. Especially with the ultra soft Parallax fabric of these capris, you’ll be tempted to wear them everywhere you go. This Fila capri also features pockets conveniently located at the thighs to hold tennis balls during play. So if you’re like me and haven’t quite made it to the level yet where you have ball kids on courts, you’ll love how “handy” this feature is. Comfortable and functional? You bet it is!
After much anticipation, the newest adidas Barricades have finally arrived! For this specific version of the Barricade, fashion designer Stella McCartney paired up with adidas to make this top performance shoe ever-so stylish. I love the white mesh overlay to tone down the bold neon yellow a little bit; it’s still bright and fun without being in your face loud. But don’t let its cute appearance throw you off. Like its previous generations, this is one tough shoe that was also designed to last. For those who are especially hard on shoes, the Barricade 8’s come with an outsole warranty for extra piece of mind. It’s safe to say these shoes offer performance and style. Last but not least, is the adidas 6-pack Sidespin Hairbands. I picked out these hairbands specifically because of the fun, vibrant colors. They add a pop of color to your outfit while keeping those stray hairs out of your eyes. And for my outfit, the yellow ties in perfectly with the shoes and the tank’s accents.
