Michelle's Pick

I was inspired by color and planned an outfit around my favorite new tank top from Nike. I’m a big fan of Nike and bought this Nike Summer Futura Tank the second I saw it in stock here at TW just last week, so I decided to build a whole outfit around it. This tank is super light weight and fun for practicing in, plus it pairs really well with many skirts or shorts. I decided to match it with the Nike Summer Rival Woven Skorts (both colors pair well with the tank) for an added pop of color. We just finished up our playtest wearing the Asics Gel Resolution 5s, and the black and pink colorway of this shoe seems to fit right in with this outfit — it was a no brainer to add a high performing, cushioning shoe that also look hot on and off the court. Naturally, I rounded out my look with a bit of color with the Asics Hera Headbands as I have to tame my hair on the court and enjoy doing so in style. Lastly, I don’t like to carry traditional tennis bags on the court anymore and am always on the lookout for something cute that I can tow my gear in, the Asics Club Diva Bag is just perfect. All in all, I think this is a great look for a day of practicing in the sun or a social doubles match on the weekend, and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Brittany’s outfit pick is bold and sporty. She is known to pair bright colors with black to stand out on the court and this outfit does just that. Her outfit is right on trend as we have been seeing all kinds of bright yellows throughout several collections this year.  When it comes to clothes, Tonic has a great feel and pays attention to detail for the female athlete, so Brittany found it easy to pick a couple things from the new Tonic Summer line. She picked the citron Tonic Summer Top Spin Tank that has plenty of features including a ruching at the bust, a keyhole in the back, and contrast mesh inserts for ventilation.  Pairing this with the the Tonic Summer Response Skort in the black colorway to compliment the top without overpowering it. To complete the look, Brittany added the Nike Featherlite Visor II in black for those sunny days, the Tonic Summer Advantage Bra in the citron color for extra support, and the Nike Zoom Courtlite 3 in the Anthracite/White/Electric Yellow colorway to make the look complete.

Karly's Pick

When it came to Karly’s look, she proved that she loves choices, and the more there are, the better. She wanted an outfit that gives a sense of confidence and independence and Karly proved her versatile style in this outfit. You will have plenty of choices of where you can wear this outfit to make you feel strong and confident. To start, Karly chose the stylish Nike Summer Pure Top because at first glance, this is a classic cap-sleeve with a sleek V-neck, but the second you get a hold of it, you’ll find out it was also made for high performance activity. It’s soft poly-blend feel will leave even the most active athletes satisfied as well as fashionable. Choose your favorite color and wear it to your next tennis match or out casually. Either way, be ready to rake in the compliments when you put it on! Pairing that with the New Balance Spring Ultimate Knee Capri, you can wear them on the tennis court, to the gym or for casual wear around the house — the thick material is so soft and comfortable, it will be tough to want to take them off. When it came to footwear, Karly wanted to make sure you are getting off on the right foot and picked the adidas Tempaia II’s because they are one eye-catching shoe that excels in both performance and style. They make any outfit look great with their bright, stylish cosmetics. Being one of the lightest and fastest shoes on the market that provide incredible support, these shoes were also made to last. To top off her versatile, fun outfit you can’t leave out the adidas Sidespin Hairbands. These must-have accessories are perfect for adding a little bit of color pop to your clothes. Plus, they keep hair out of your face so you don’t feel like Cousin It when trying to workout. Functional and stylish? Yes please!

Get out there, add some color to your wardrobe, hit the courts in style this spring and keep an eye out for the next blog from our TW Stylists!

Play with heart,

Michelle
