How does it play?

The Organix V1 Pro is a player’s version of the iconic V1, a true industry classic that is still going strong after nearly 20 years in production.  Like the original V1, the V1 Pro is packed with user-friendly playability and comfort.  Also like the original V1, this impressive new Pro version has an uncanny combination of speed and stability, making it one of the more versatile and easy swinging player’s racquets we’ve hit in a while. What separates Volkl’s latest addition to the V1 franchise is a level of low-powered control that is more commonly seen in heavier, more traditional player’s racquets (think Head Prestige). The exceptional control is impressive when you consider that the V1 Pro, weighing around 11 ounces, explodes through the hitting zone with the ease of a Pure Drive. As such, we think this racquet is a great option for the player who wants to keep more balls in play while still being able to max out on stroke speed. For those who like to load the ball with spin, The V1 Pro has you covered – the 16×19 string pattern and crisp response is just what the doctor ordered. Ultimately, whether you are an intermediate looking for a user-friendly player’s racquet, or an advanced player looking to trade in your heavy beast for more maneuverability and comfort, the Organix V1 Pro is worth a very serious look.

Playtester Comments

“Impressive control and stability for how maneuverable it is.”

“Surprisingly good on fast exchanges against pace. The stringbed felt forgiving, solid and precise.”

“Control. Comfort. Feel. Spin. Go ahead and swing for the fences because the ball will drop in.”

“A little meatier than the Classic V1, but still swings smooth from the baseline.”
