Congratulations to Novak Djokovic the reigning 2013 Australian Open Champion. He has won the tournament now 3 times in a row and has won 21 consecutive matches!

In the final, Andy Murray had the better start winning he first set 7/6. The second set was very even but in the tie-break Novak had the better end and won the second set 7/6.

Then Andy had to get treatment on his right foot. It looked like he had a big blisters. But the way these players move nowadays it is certainly not a surprise that they push themselves to the limits even physically no matter what happens. After that it looked like Novak was able to lift his level and pushing Andy a lot more and making him move around the court. He simply went for a lot more and also took more risks. But he got rewarded for it by winning the third 6/3 and fourth set 6/2!

Novak has been working with the same team for a long time! Marian Vajda has probably been traveling and working with him the longest. He has the coaching position and is a very humble person always there for Novak! Gerhard Gritsch an Austrian is the Physical trainer of Novak. He is helping him to be fit and strong at the same time. Gerhard apparently has a very strict regime.

And the Physio who is in charge for the preparation and recovery is called Milan Avanovic, a former basketball player. He is making sure that Novak is able to lunge and stretch into the corner and retrieve balls nobody besides him can!

Well done Djoker and well done to the team!
