Feliciano Lopez’s Practice Gear

Feliciano Lopez practicing

A couple days ago we were at a Wilson photo/video shoot, filming some footage for a commercial and behind the scenes spot with some of Wilson’s top athletes including Victoria Azarenka, Grigor Dimitrov, and Milos Raonic.  While we were waiting, I spotted Feliciano Lopez getting a practice session in on a side court before his turn in the spotlight.

I snuck over to watch and found Lopez in head to toe Wilson: apparel, footwear and racquet.  His Core Logo “W” Court Tech T-shirt and Solana Colorblock 10″ Shorts had a casual comfortable look and the all white ensemble is perfect for keeping cool in the desert sun.  On his feet, he was sporting the Wilson Rush Pro’s (check out our review of the shoe).  Lastly, his racquet of choice, the Wilson Juice 100, is perfect for those seeking power and spin.

Keep checking back for more coverage of the players at the BNP Paribas Open.

BNP Paribas Open — The Ultimate Mobile App

I’m incredibly antsy and eager counting down the days till I get to enjoy the BNP Paribas Tournament this year! Always an absolute favorite for me, this year is even more exciting with all of the new additions (Stadium 2, lots of new restaurants, added practice courts, etc.)! So, while I count the hours until I get to be basking in the sun and tennis at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, I thought I’d share with you another new feature the BNP has for us this year (even if you don’t get the chance to venture out to the desert for tennis, this might be worth a download so you can keep up with all the action)!

First things first. Wifi! Yes, the Tennis Gardens has updated its technology this year and is offering wifi throughout the venue! So whether it’s checking scores on one of the courts you aren’t watching or sending a quick “out of office” email, you will find quick internet access.

Here’s the top 5 reasons you need the BNP Mobile App:

Best dressed at the 2013 US Open

Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal were the two left standing with the champions trophies, but they weren’t the only winners from the 2013 US Open. Let’s take a look at this year’s best dressed, as determined by your faithful Tennis Warehouse bloggers.

Ladies first. First up, we should start with the champion herself. Karly found herself partial to the night look of Serena Williams. I can’t help but think of ballerina when I look at her Heathered V-Neck Dress. I think it’s the flouncy skirt on the dress and snug leotard-type top. The night version wins out with its pop of pink on a greyish-blue base.

Brittany liked the beige top to ground the ultra bright orange skirt and shoes. Jason is a big Kirilenko fan, and I have to admit, if someone can pull off an entirely neon orange outfit, it’s Kirilenko.
